Inspiring Worship
At First Presbyterian Church, we offer
two distinct Sunday morning services. Both services center around
God's Word in Scripture as it is read and preached, and both
services seek to give glory to God, but each service is unique in
its approach.
Service of Morning Prayer

At 9:00 on Sunday mornings, we gather for worship in the Fellowship
Hall. This simple service celebrates the community we share with God
and with God's family as we sing simple meditative choruses, offer
joys and concerns in prayer, and share fellowship around the table.
Childcare is available for young children.
Service for the Lord's Day
At 11:00 on Sunday mornings, we gather for worship in the
Sanctuary. In this service, we experience awe and reverence for God
through a more formal Presbyterian liturgy, time-honored hymns, and
inspiring choir anthems. Childcare is available for young children.
Children's Church is available following the children's sermon for
children in K-4 and K-5.

Childrens Church
During the 11:00 Service for the Lord's Day, immediately
following the Children's Sermon, children in K-4 and K-5 are invited
to Children's Church, a special time of prayer and learning designed
to introduce young children to the practice of worship.
Choir
The adult choir leads the congregation in song at the 11:00
Service for the Lord's Day, as well as offering choral responses and
anthems. The choir rehearses at 6:15 on Wednesday evenings.
Fellowship Sunday
On the first Sunday of each quarter (January, April, July,
October), we join together for a combined worship service at 11:00
AM, followed by a congregational dinner in the Fellowship Hall.
Sweet Hour of Prayer
On the first Wednesday of each month, the sanctuary is open from
11:30-12:30 for personal, silent prayer.
